How does Carbonless Laser Paper work?
Copies are created from two separate coatings under pressure. The CB copy of your paper has pressure sensitive micro capsules, under pressure these capsules dislodge and release dyes, which are absorbed. The CF copy of your paper is the absorber and will transfer the dyes into a sharp, intense image.
As previously stated carbonless NCR paper is best used on photocopiers or laser printers, the reason that the paper can be used on these machines is due to its low moisture content, which ensures no curling problems, there is no contamination to your printers drums and generally carbonless NCR paper has excellent runnability.
